Montville Police Dog Team Assists In Stonington High School Sweep

Ten police dog teams conducted a sweep of Stonington High School lockers and property, police said.

STONINGTON, CT - Police said ten K-9 teams conducted an unannounced sweep of Stonington High School lockers and property Tuesday around 8:30 a.m. The sweep took approximately 15 minutes and no illegal narcotics were found, police said.

The sweep was conducted with the cooperation and permission of the Stonington school administration, according to a release.

Police said they were assisted by K-9 teams from Groton, Montville, Norwich, Waterford, Westerly and state police.
