Montville Police Investigate Overnight Burglaries, Warn Residents

MONTVILLE, CT- Police have taken to social media to inform residents about several crimes in their area.

The department is investigating a Wednesday night burglary and several vehicle break-ins, according to a recent Facebook post. They took place in the area of Old Colchester Road and Moxley Road.

Police ask citizens to do their part and lock their houses at night or when they are simply not home. They furthermore remind citizens that locking your vehicle is just as important in preventing theft.

“Let's watch each others backs,” the post said.
