Montville Police Release Details On Sobriety Checkpoint
The checkpoint will be this weekend.
MONTVILLE, CT — Police will conduct a sobriety checkpoint in various locations in Montville concentrating on high-traffic areas such as Route 85, Route 32, Route 82, and Route 163. The checks will be Friday into Saturday from 5 p.m. to 4 a.m.
"The purpose of the check-point is to further educate the motoring public and strengthen the public's awareness to the need of detecting and removing those motorists who operate under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol from our roadways," police wrote in a statement.
