Montville Police Seize Marijuana, More than $8,000 Cash After Searching Residence
Police and state troopers seized a number of items after searching a Montville residence, including marijuana and ammunition.

MONTVILLE, CT – Police and state troopers seized marijuana, ammunition, a money counting machine and more after searching a residence Thursday.
Police said they initiated an investigation with the Montville Resident State Trooper's Office into the possession of and intent to distribute marijuana being stored at a Montville residence.
Investigators searched the Jerome Road apartment after obtaining a warrant. As a result, approximately 3.5 pounds of packaged marijuana, drug paraphernalia, marijuana wax, ammunition, packaging materials, scales, cell phones, a money counting machine and $8,700.00 in cash were seized and held as evidence.

Police said the investigation is on-going and arrests are anticipated.
