Montville Police, State Troopers Seize Narcotics Following Search
Police said the investigation is on on-going and arrests are anticipated.

MONTVILLE, CT – Police and state troopers found marijuana , mushrooms, fire arms and more after executing a search warrant Friday.
Police said on Facebook the Resident State Trooper's Office and the Montville Police Department initiated an investigation after reports of a Montville resident cultivating marijuana behind a house.
Police and troopers served search warrants on several buildings behind 33 Cove Road in conjunction with the Statewide Narcotics Task Force-East Office.

Investigators said they located about four pounds of packaged and drying marijuana, drug paraphernalia, marijuana wax, psychotropic mushrooms, two firearms, ammunition, drug packaging materials, scales, cell phones, fans and $648 in cash.
All items were seized, transported and held as evidence. Police said the investigation is on on-going and arrests are anticipated.
