Montville Schools Names Its Paraprofessional Of The Year
She has been with the district since 2003.

MONTVILLE, CT — LeeAnn Bigelow, a paraprofessional at Oakdale Elementary School since 2003, has been chosen as the 2018-19 Paraprofessional of the Year for Montville Public Schools, district officials announced.
Bigelow was nominated by her peers, some of whom made the following comments about her dedication and performance:
- "Everything that I have learned about being a para I learned from LeeAnn."
- "LeeAnn has remarkable behavior management and her students show incredible growth."
- "LeeAnn always goes above and beyond what is expected of her and and puts the students first."
- "LeeAnn is an asset to the Special Education Staff at Oakdale School."
She is scheduled to receive her honor at the September 18, 2018 Board of Education meeting.
