New Chick-fil-A Restaurant Coming to Mohegan Sun

The new eatery will be the chain's fifth in Connecticut.

MONTVILLE, CT – A new Chick-fil-a restaurant will open in Connecticut at Mohegan Sun casino this fall, the Norwich Bulletin reported.

The restaurant will be located across from Carlo’s Bakery in Casino of the Earth, according to the Norwich Bulletin.

There are currently four Chick-fil-a restaurants in the state, making the new Montville location its fifth. The other four locations include Danbury, Enfield, Brookfield and Wallingford, according to the chain’s website.

Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A, Inc. is a family owned and privately held restaurant company dedicated to serving the communities in which its restaurants operate. Known for its original chicken sandwich, Chick-fil-A serves freshly prepared food in more than 1,900 restaurants in 42 states and Washington, D.C.

Chick-fil-A produced sales of nearly $6 billion in 2014, selling over 250 chicken sandwiches. The chain was recognized in June 2016 as America’s favorite fast food restaurant, according to an American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) report.
