Vehicle Smashes Into Dunkin' Location In CT, Business Temporarily Closed
The crash occurred Monday afternoon in Salem, according to authorities.
SALEM, CT — If you're looking for your regular cup of joe from the Dunkin' location in Salem, you might have to wait a while.
At about 4:45 p.m. on Monday, a vehicle smashed into the front of the store at 1 New London Road in Salem, causing structural damage to the building, according to authorities.
As a result, the shop is temporarily closed, according to its website. When it will reopen has not been disclosed.

WTNH-TV reported that the vehicle had been in a two-vehicle crash in the nearby roundabout and then veered off into the Dunkin' shop.

Patch reached out to Connecticut State Police for comment, but the report on the incident has not yet been authorized for release, according to Trooper First Class Pedro Muniz.
"Preliminary reports indicate that there were no injuries reported," Muniz told Patch. "Minor damage to the commercial building."
