Officer-Involved Shooting Reported in Montville

State police say there is no threat to the public. (BREAKING)

MONTVILLE, CT — An officer-involved shooting has been reported in Montville, according to Connecticut State Police.

The shooting took place in the area of Chesterfield Lodge on Grassy Hill Road. According to police, one person suffered a gunshot wound and an officer suffered a non-life threatening injury. Both were taken to local hospitals.

The person who suffered a gunshot wound sustained life-threatening injuries, according to police.
