Popular Sports Bar Closes At Mohegan Sun To Make Way For New Dining Concept
A restaurant and bar closed over the weekend but a new eatery is reportedly coming soon.
UNCASVILLE, CT — Tom's Watch Bar, a Mohegan Sun staple, closed its doors over the weekend, according to The Connecticut Scoop.
The restaurant and bar, formerly known as Tom's Urban, had its last day of business Friday. It was located on the casino-resort's second floor, above the Shops at Mohegan Sun and next to Landsdowne Irish Pub.
A Mohegan Sun representative said a "new dining concept" will take the place of Tom's Watch Bar and open later this year, according to Hearst Connecticut Media.

The sports bar opened in 2016 and served burgers, wings, sandwiches, and more. Tom's Watch Bar has several locations around the country.
It no longer appears on a list of Mohegan Sun establishments.

The news comes as Bobby's Burger Palace is temporarily closed at Mohegan Sun. The spot will reopen as a reimagined restaurant, Bobby's Burgers by Bobby Flay.
