Saint Bernard Students Perform in Nation's Capital

Music students participated in the American Musical Salute, commemorating the life of Martin Luther King, Jr., in early April.

About 60 Saint Bernard students traveled to Washington, D.C., from April 6 to 9 to perform as part of the American Musical Salute, commemorating the life of Martin Luther King, Jr.

The trip included weekend performances by the Saints during the official ceremony at the Martin Luther King Memorial, and a feature performance on the National Mall at the Lincoln Memorial.

During the trip students, faculty and chaperones also had time for some sightseeing around the city, which included tours of the U.S. Capitol Building and Washington Monument, and visits to Arlington National Cemetery, as well as the various museums and memorials.
