SBS Names February Students of the Month
Crystaliz Sanchez, of New London, and Olivia Mayorga, are students of the month at Saint Bernard School.
Crystaliz Sanchez and Olivia Mayorga have been named Students of the Month for February at Saint Bernard School.
Crystaliz, 14, of New London, is a ninth-grader. At school, she participates in soccer. Outside of school, she volunteers at her church and participates in its choir.
Faculty members say Crystaliz strives to do her best work, participates in class, and is conscientious of her work. She also goes above and beyond as a friend to help her peers.

Olivia, 11, of Mystic, is a sixth-grader. At school, she plays basketball, tennis and lacrosse, and plays cello in the string ensemble. Outside of school, she plays cello in a chamber group. She was recently accepted into the CT All State Elementary Honors Orchestra. Teachers describe her as kind and always willing to help others.
