- We’re looking for Whiz Kid nominations! What is a , you ask? It’s a kid who’s done something that deserves recognition. The Moms Council is particularly interested in honoring the kids who are just good kids. Maybe they’re not the ones who make the top grades, or win the sports prizes, maybe they are just kind, courteous, honest children and teens who make a difference in people’s lives If you would like to nominate either kid – the brilliant achiever or the just plain good kid – email me at carrie.jacobson@patch.com, or our Moms Council president, Laura Tanner at lautanner@yahoo.com.
