Students Tweet at President Trump to Visit Montville High School

A group of Montville High School students have invited President Donald Trump to come pay a visit to their school.

MONTVILLE, CT - A group of Montville High School students have invited President Donald Trump to come to their school, the Norwich Bulletin reported. They are hoping the President will pay a visit when he comes to New London next month.

The three juniors tweeted at the President on Monday with help from history teacher George Dawe, according to the Norwich Bulletin. Students then retweeted it in order to gain recognition. (To sign up for Montville breaking news alerts and more, click here.)

The President will be in New London on May 17 to deliver the commencement address at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, the Norwich Bulletin reported. Dawe hopes Trump will accept the invitation in order to spark conversation amongst students.
