Teen Commits Home Invasion Over $15 In Montville: State Police
State Police say the teen demanded money from the victim and took off with $15.

MONTVILLE, CT — State Police say a teen is accused of committing a home invasion in Montville. At 9:07 p.m. Sunday, troopers from Troop E-Montville responded to a home on Pequot Road for a disturbance.
It was reported that a 17-year-old male entered an apartment through an unlocked door, State Police said. The victim/resident of the apartment stated that he was familiar with the accused.
The victim reported that the teen was armed with a knife and that he had been sending threatening text messages throughout the day over an incident that occurred between a group of young men a few days prior, State Police said.

The suspect waved the knife around and demanded money, State Police said. After receiving $15 the suspect fled in an unknown vehicle, State Police said. No injuries were reported. The suspect has been identified and an arrest warrant is pending, State Police said. There is no threat to the community, State Police said.
