Temporary Court Decision Reached In Montville HS Fight Club Case

The former substitute teacher at the center of the case was in court in Norwich Wednesday.

NORWICH, CT — The court case against Ryan A. Fish, the former Montville High School substitute teacher accused of orchestrating a classroom fight club with his students, was continued Wednesday during a hearing in Norwich Superior Court to July 25, reports the Norwich Bulletin.

The request for the continuance was made by Fish's Norwich-based attorney, Paul F. Chinigo, who told the judge he needed more time to review circumstances about the case.

In addition to Fish's arrest - Montville Schools Superintendent Brian Levesque, Montville High School Principal Jeffrey Theodoss and high school Assistant Principal Tatiana Patten - also have been charged in the case, and all recently filed pleas of not guilty.
