This Necklace Is Really Cool

Think the celebrities you see on TV have the coolest jewelry? Think the necklaces those major league ballplayers wear are cool? This necklace - good for boys or girls - is really cool.

Here's what you need:

Straws

Ice cube tray

Yarn or string

Picture 1 - Supplies

I cut a straw the length of the slots in the ice cube tray. Next I take a piece of yarn and string the straws onto it. I carefully place the straws in each ice cube section and add water.

Picture 2 - Stringing

When it is frozen solid I pop it out and there you have it: An ice cube necklace to keep you cool.

Want to be fancier? Add food coloring to make different colored cubes. Place a small flower, or a piece of candy, a bead or a tiny shell in the water in the tray and freeze the item into your necklace.
