Three Montville Middle Schoolers to Sing at Carnegie Hall

MONTVILLE, CT- Three Leonard J. Tyl Middle School students will sing in the 2016 Middle School Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall, as reported by The Day.

Eighth grader Emily Day and seventh graders Brianna Pedersen and Elijah Rix were selected among students from 45 different states and Canada in the Honors Junior Choir, according to The Day. The performance will take place Saturday.

Their trip to New York will last five days, and will include the opportunity to work with composer and conductor Sally Albrecht, according to The Day. The performance is open to the public, with tickets available for purchase through Carnegie Hall.
