In the event of major debris, we will establish a debris management area at Palmer field and work with SCRRRA to remove as soon as possible. Having the debris managed in one area allows us to document costs for any potential FEMA reimbursement.
If widespread outages occur we will establish charging stations where we are able based on need, accessibility, power availability and projected duration.
Major flooding appears to be the biggest issue at this time. Of particular concern is that the storm will coincide with a full moon on Sunday. Fortunately we are far enough inland to hopefully avoid the tidal effects.
Currently there exists a lot of uncertainty in the forecast and we will stay apprised of all notifications from DEMS through our Region 4 partners.
