Uncasville Man Arrested In Norwich Fentanyl Case: Update

Norwich Police found the suspected drug dealer and his accomplice.

NORWICH, CT — Norwich police have arrested a pair of suspected fentanyl dealers after the two fled from detectives, nearly striking one of the detectives with their vehicle, authorities announced.

"Kristen Beers and Bernard Perry have been located and arrested," wrote Norwich police on the department's Facebook page. "We would wish to thank Waterford PD, the Statewide Narcotics Task Force, and the public for their efforts in these apprehensions."

Uncasville resident Bernard Perry, 42, of Fielding Terrace, and Norwich resident Kristen Beers, 37, of Otrobando Avenue, were observed by detectives attempting to sell fentanyl in Norwich.

"Upon detectives arrival they identified themselves and Perry drove his vehicle at one of the detectives forcing the detective to jump out of the way of the oncoming vehicle," wrote Norwich police.
