Widow of Recently Deceased Montville School Board Member to Fill Husband’s Vacancy

Her husband died in last year after a pulmonary embolism.

MONTVILLE, CT - The wife of a recently deceased Board of Education member will fill her husband’s vacant position, The Day reported.

Monica Pomazon will sit on the board until her husband, Todd’s, term expires in November, according to The Day. Her husband died in October after a pulmonary embolism.

Pomazon attended her first school board meeting as a member on Dec. 20, The Day reported. She may run for another term on the board in the November 2017 town elections if she wants to.
