2 Accused Of Illegally Selling Marijuana From Van In Naugatuck: Police
Police said the two men are accused of selling marijuana from a van advertised as a "mobile dispensary" without necessary permits.

NAUGATUCK, CT β Two men accused of illegally selling marijuana from a van in Naugatuck were arrested Friday, according to police.
In an arrest log summary, police said the department received complaints Thursday and Friday of a van in the area of Walmart on New Haven Road marked with decals of marijuana leaves advertising the vehicle as a "mobile dispensary."
According to police, it was reported the driver was openly advertising and selling marijuana from the van.

Officers contacted James Marson Brown, 25, of Jamaica, N.Y., and Stanley Livingston, 30, of Bridgeport, Friday afternoon, and an investigation revealed the two men were selling marijuana and CBD-related items without necessary sales or dispensary permits, police said.
Police also noted it is "illegal to sell THC-related items, including CBD, from a vehicle and there are no such permits."

Officers seized the van and arrested Brown and Livingston, police said. They were both charged with fourth-degree money laundering, illegal sales without sales tax permit and sale of a controlled substance, among other charges.
Both men received a $5,000 bond and are scheduled to appear in court next month, according to police.
