Fire officials said three people were displaced by a fire that broke out in the bedroom of a Naugatuck home.
NAUGATUCK, CT — Three people were displaced by a fire that broke out Friday at a home in Naugatuck, according to the Naugatuck Fire Department.
In a Facebook post around 4 p.m., fire officials said the blaze was reported at a single-family home on Tudor Lane.
According to fire officials, the homeowners called 911 after they arrived home and noticed smoke.

The fire was contained to one bedroom due to a homeowner keeping the bedroom door closed, fire officials said.
No injuries were reported.

Two adults and one teenager were displaced as a result of the fire and are being assisted by the American Red Cross, fire officials said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Naugatuck Fire Marshal's Office, according to fire officials.
Beacon Hose Co. No. 1 crews helped put out the blaze while crews from The Volunteer Fire Department of Prospect, Inc. and Middlebury Volunteer Fire Department provided station coverage, fire officials noted.
