2 Naugatuck Men Sat in School Parking Lot with Heroin, Drug Paraphernalia: Police

Naugatuck police say they responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint.

Naugatuck, CT - Two local residents are accused of being in possession of drug paraphernalia and heroin while sitting in a vehicle in a school parking lot, police said.

Police said at 6:21 p.m. on Wednesday officers investigated a suspicious vehicle complaint in the parking lot of Central Avenue School.

The driver, Lawrence Allen, 26, of Manners Avenue, and the passenger, Kristopher Butler, 28, of Fairchild Street were determined to be in possession of a glass smoking pipe, a syringe and heroin, police said.

Butler is charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released after posting a $500 bond.

Manners is charged with possession of paraphernalia and violation of probation. He was given a $25,000 bond.
