2 People Arrested After Head-On Crash: Naugatuck Police
Police said they recently investigated a head-on crash in Naugatuck.
NAUGATUCK, CT β Two people were arrested after police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Sept. 7, police said. At 4:55 p.m. police responded to the area of 110 Tawny Thrush Road for a motor vehicle accident.
Police said the accident was a head-on crash. Through the officers investigation Sara Sabanski, 20, of Tawny Thrush Road, was found to driving while under the influence of alcohol and or drugs while failing to drive in the proper lane, police said. She was charged with illegally operating a motor vehicle while under the influence.
Police also said as part of the accident investigation, Tyler Matthew Purcell, 21, of Bridgeport was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. Purcell is charged with sale of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance. He was released on a $2,500 bond.
