WATERBURY, CT — Two young women are injured, one critically, after a hit-and-run crash in Waterbury Thursday night, according to multiple reports.
The women, ages 21 and 22, were hit along with two vehicles on Walnut Avenue just after 9 p.m., NBC Connecticut reported, citing police. Both women were taken to the hospital, with the 22-year-old in critical condition and the 21-year-old stable.
The driver got out of the vehicle and ran before police arrived and has not been identified, Lieutenant Ryan Bessette of the Waterbury Police Department told NBC Connecticut and WFSB.
