26-Year-Old Killed In Motorcycle Crash In Naugatuck: Police
The crash occurred early Sunday on Prospect Street (Route 68), according to authorities.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A 26-year-old motorcyclist was killed in Naugatuck early Sunday when he crashed his bike near the 400 block of Prospect Street (Route 68), according to authorities.
"The preliminary investigation suggests John Johnson Jr. (Age 26) was driving his 2007 Harley Davidson FLHR Westbound on Prospect Street, and for an unknown reason, veered off the roadway to the right, ending up in an embankment," Naugatuck police wrote on Facebook.
Johnson was taken to Waterbury Hospital for treatment of injuries that were a threat to his life following the 2 a.m. crash. He ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased later that day, police said.

"The Naugatuck Valley Collision Investigation Team continues to investigate the circumstances that lead to the collision," police said, and the department urges anyone with any information about the crash to Det.
