3 Naugatuck Schools To Receive Water Bottle Filling Stations
Connecticut Water is providing the filling stations.
NAUGATUCK, CT — Three Naugatuck schools — Cross Street Intermediate, Hillside Intermediate and Hop Brook Elementary — will receive new water bottle filling stations, courtesy of Connecticut Water, the utility company announced.
According to officials, the program, launched in 2020, provides touch-free water bottle filling stations to schools served by Connecticut Water. Separately, the utility company also launched another program in 2020 that provides financial support for equipment or training for fire departments within Connecticut Water’s service communities.
"Each program includes a minimum funding commitment of $15,000 from Connecticut Water, part of its annual $120,000 commitment to support community and charitable organizations," officials said. "Connecticut Water's charitable giving programs are funded by the company and not recovered in customer rates."
