4 Naugatuck Men Tried to Rob Teen, 16, of Marijuana: Police
BREAKING: Police say one of the suspect's punched the teen in the face through his open car window.
NAUGATUCK, CT — A 16-year-old was assaulted by men in ski masks and a total of four arrests were announced by police Wednesday. Police said the four arrestees wanted to rob the victim of marijuana during the incident.
Police said at 11:22 a.m. on Tuesday Naugatuck Police responded to a reported robbery at 933 Rubber Avenue (Southwood Apartments). The victim, a 16-year-old male advised that he and another male friend drove to the apartments when he advised two males in ski masks approached his vehicle and advised him that he “owed them money,” police said.
The victim advised that one of the two men then started punching him in the face through his open car window and fled before the police arrived, police sad.

Officers were able to determine through the investigation that four subjects were involved in the incident, police said. Officers learned that the four conspired to buy marijuana from the juvenile victim and devised a plan to rob the victim of the marijuana during the transaction, police said. It was determined that the juvenile victim had made the drug transaction just before the assault occurred, police said.

Steven Lister, 20, of Naugatuck
Javon Couture, 22, of Naugatuck
Sean Chobia, 19, of Naugatuck
Victor Foster, Jr., 26, of Naugatuck
The suspects are all charged with numerous robbery and larceny offenses. Chobia was also charged with third-degree assault.
