9 Naugatuck High Students Selected By Young Writers USA Contest
Nine Naugatuck High School students' stories were recently selected for publication by the Young Writers USA Contest.
NAUGATUCK, CT — Nine Naugatuck High School students' stories were recently selected for publication by the Young Writers USA Contest.
According to Naugatuck Public Schools, the following nine students were selected to be Young Writers USA Contest published authors:
- Violet Smith (Class of 2025)
- Desire Salley (Class of 2025)
- Ceejay Cuevas (Class of 2026)
- Emily Bogart (Class of 2024)
- Brianna Gallo (Class of 2026)
- Areena Rahman (Class of 2024)
- Airika Echevarria (Class of 2026)
- Bryan Garcia (Class of 2025)
- Abby Verrinder (Class of 2026)
NPS also gave a special shoutout to Garcia, who was also accepted to attend the Jonathan R. Reynolds Young Writers Workshop at Denison University in Ohio, where he will spend a full week honing his writing skills this summer.
