Absentee Ballot Information Released For Naugatuck Residents

Absentee ballots become available from the Town Clerk in October. Here's what you need to know, according to Naugatuck officials.

Republican and Democratic parties and individual candidates have obtained applications for absentee ballots to distribute them to voters unsolicited for the November 8, 2022 Election. They are legally allowed to distribute applications. You can vote in person at your polling place; voting by absentee is an option if you are eligible:

2. YOUR ABSENCE FROM THE TOWN OF RESIDENCE ON THAT DAY

3. SICKNESS

4. YOUR RELIGIOUS TENETS FORBIDDING SECULAR ACTIVITY ON THAT DAY

5. YOUR DUTIES AS AN ELECTION OFFICIAL WORKING AT A POLLING PLACE OTHER THAN YOUR OWN

6. PHYSICAL DISABILITY

Applications may also be obtained on the Borough's website, the Secretary of the State's website, or in person during regular business hours in the Town Clerk's Office.

The ballot box will be open for applications on October 1, 2022, in the rear parking of the Town Hall. If you have any questions, please call the Town Clerks' office at 203-720-7055.
