NAUGATUCK, CT — A driver was injured when a vehicle struck a Naugatuck home Monday afternoon, according to the Naugatuck Police Department.
In a news release posted to Facebook, police said the vehicle struck a Field Street home around 3 p.m.
The vehicle was safely removed from the home with assistance from Naugatuck fire and EMS crews, according to police.
The home sustained structural damage as a result of the impact and the residents have been temporarily relocated, according to police.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, police said.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation, according to police.
