WATERBURY, CT — A fire damaged a three-family, three-story residence Tuesday afternoon, according to the fire department.
Capt. Edward Partridge said no one was injured, but one occupant was displaced because of the fire.
Firefighters were summoned to the scene, at 27 Marion Ave., around 4:40 p.m. Tuesday.
When firefighters arrived, there was a fire on the third floor of the building.
The fire was quickly extinguished, and firefighters searched for any victims inside, but there weren’t any, according to Partridge.
The American Red Cross has been notified to help the resident who was displaced.
The Fire Marshal's Office is still investigating the cause of the fire.
