NAUGATUCK, CT — A Naugatuck school resource officer was honored this week by the Naugatuck Parent Student Council as the 2026 School Community Hero, according to police.
In a Facebook post Wednesday, the Naugatuck Police Department congratulated School Resource Officer Robert Fulton on receiving the award.
Fulton was recognized during the 2026 Raymond K. Foley Award Reception "for his continued dedication, support and positive impact within our school community," according to the department's post.
The award reception was held Tuesday night in Naugatuck, according to the Naugatuck Parent Student Council.
"Thank you for the relationships you build, the guidance you provide and the difference you make each day for our Naugatuck students, staff and families," the department wrote on Facebook.
