Officers are urging drivers to lock their cars, remove valuables from sight, and consider lighting, cameras, or tracking devices, and to report any suspicious activity to the local department.    

• Naugatuck CCSU Student Wins Distinguished Student Award (patch.com) — A Naugatuck student, Gabriel Garcia, has been named a Henry Barnard Distinguished Student Award winner at Central Connecticut State University, recognizing his achievements in physics and philosophy along with community service.
