Naugatuck Animal Control Facility Closed Due To Fire, Flood Incident (patch.com) — Naugatuck residents are being asked to adjust as the borough’s Animal Control facility is temporarily closed following a recent fire and flooding, though all animals have been safely relocated. Services will continue through on-call officers, with emergencies routed via police dispatch and non-urgent questions handled by email while officials work toward reopening.

Naugatuck Students Named To College's Spring 2026 Dean's List (patch.com) — Naugatuck families can celebrate as several local students earned spots on Western Connecticut State University’s spring 2026 Dean’s List, spanning majors from nursing and psychology to music education and digital media. The university outlines the 3.5 GPA and credit requirements that these full- and part-time students met to achieve this recognition.

Naugatuck Man Found With 21 Kilos Of Cocaine, Prosecutors Say (patch.com) — A Naugatuck man has pleaded guilty in federal court after state troopers found 21 kilograms of cocaine hidden in a car during a February traffic stop in Trumbull. He faces a mandatory minimum of 10 years in prison, with sentencing set for late August, while the driver has already entered a similar plea.    

4. Baseball Recap: Danbury Wins Going Away Against Naugatuck (maxpreps.com) — Naugatuck’s Greyhounds saw their strong season end with a 12-4 home playoff loss to Danbury, snapping a 12-game home winning streak and leaving them at 17-8. Danbury’s bats dominated, while Naugatuck currently has no further games scheduled.
