NAUGATUCK, CT — Old Firehouse Road is closed in Naugatuck due to construction and will remain closed for the next couple of weeks, police announced Monday.
In a Facebook post, police said the road will remain closed for approximately two weeks until work in the area is complete.
Police also announced the following traffic pattern changes:
According to police, Ion Bank has opened its Church Street gate for vehicle access to help accommodate traffic during the closure.
Officers will also be in the area to assist with traffic and detours as needed, police said.
Police urged drivers to plan ahead and use caution when traveling through the area.
"We appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation while this project is completed," police wrote on Facebook. "Updates will be provided as they become available."
