Car Crashes Into Telephone Pole In Naugatuck, Road Closed: Police

NAUGATUCK, CT — A driver was injured after their car crashed into a telephone pole Tuesday afternoon in Naugatuck, according to police.

In a travel advisory around 3 p.m., police said a one-car crash into a telephone pole was reported on North Church Street near Buckingham Street.

The driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, police said.

According to police, North Church Street is limited to northbound traffic only and Buckingham Street is closed from Judd Street to North Church Street.

Drivers are asked to use Hillside Avenue as an alternate route, police said.

Police also asked drivers to expect delays and allow extra travel time if they must drive through the area.
