NAUGATUCK, CT — A portion of a road in Naugatuck is closed Monday afternoon due to road damage, according to the Naugatuck Fire Department.
In a Facebook post around 11 a.m., fire officials said Rubber Avenue is closed between Arch Street and Andrew Avenue.
A one-way section of Aetna Street is also closed, fire officials said.
According to fire officials, the road is "undermined due to a problem with the storm sewer."
Fire officials also noted public works crews are working to open one lane on Rubber Avenue.
