Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic is a 2015 original comedy play by New York–based playwright Matt Cox. The play is a parody of the Harry Potter book series by J. K. Rowling, but from the perspective of the "Puffs": that is, members of the Hogwarts house, Hufflepuff. For seven years a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil. This, however, is not his story. This is the story of the Puffs... who just happened to be there too. A tale for anyone who has never been destined to save the world.
Puffs is not authorized, sanctioned, licensed or endorsed by J.K Rowling, Warner Bros. or any person or company associated with the Harry Potter books, films or play.
NOTE: Puffs (or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic) is typically rated PG-13 due to adult language, sexual innuendos, and mature thematic elements. Because the play is a parody of a famous wizarding story, its PG-13 rating makes it better suited for older audiences and teenagers.
Doors open at 5:30 pm for the 7:00 pm evening performances and 12:30 pm for our 2:00 matinees so that guests can picnic on the grounds if they are so inspired.. Guests are welcome to bring their own refreshments although plenty of concessions are available both pre-show and at intermission! Please note that seating is NOT cabaret style. Therefore, whatever snacks you bring in should be handhelds. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.
