Naugatuck Zoning Commission To Hold Public Hearing During Upcoming Meeting: Agenda

The Naugatuck Zoning Commission is scheduled to meet on Sept. 16, 2026. Here's what's on the agenda.

NAUGATUCK, CT — The Naugatuck Zoning Commission is scheduled to hold a public hearing during an upcoming meeting scheduled for Wednesday evening.

According to a meeting agenda available on the town website, the meeting is scheduled to be held in person and virtually at 6 p.m. in the Hall of Burgesses on the fourth floor of Town Hall, located at 229 Church Street in Naugatuck.

Among the items listed on the agenda, the commission is scheduled to continue a public hearing on a special permit application for the proposed construction and excavation for a new ball field at the DelGobbo Field Complex located at 257 Osborn Road.

A discussion and possible decision about the same special permit application is also listed on the agenda under old business.

Commission members are also scheduled to discuss potential smoke shop and vape shop regulations, according to the agenda.

Under new business, the commission is scheduled to consider accepting a special permit application for a public utility operations contractors yard at 30 William Rado Drive, according to the agenda.

The commission is also scheduled to consider accepting a special permit application for a proposed residential and commercial building at 60 Old Firehouse Road, according to the agenda.

The agenda also includes approval of the Aug. 19 regular meeting minutes, public comment, a ZEO report, the chairman's report and commissioner comments.
