• Naugatuck Zoning Commission To Hold Public Hearing During Upcoming Meeting: Agenda (patch.com) — Naugatuck residents are invited to weigh in as the Zoning Commission continues a public hearing on a special permit for a new ball field at the DelGobbo Field Complex. The upcoming meeting at Town Hall will also address possible smoke and vape shop regulations and consider new special permit applications for a utility contractors yard and a mixed residential-commercial building in the borough.
   

• Meet the huge offensive line powering Naugatuck football (ctpost.com) — Naugatuck High's massive offensive line is powering a run-heavy attack that helped the Greyhounds rally past Holy Cross in their season opener. The veteran front, anchored by several college-recruited seniors, paved the way for over 260 rushing yards and a late game-winning drive. They'll be tested again Friday night when Naugatuck hosts Notre Dame–West Haven.
