Upcoming Road Closure Announced In Naugatuck: Public Works

NAUGATUCK, CT — A portion of Rubber Avenue in Naugatuck will be closed beginning Monday as crews perform milling and paving work in the area, according to Naugatuck Public Works.

In a Facebook post Friday, public works officials said the road will be closed between Andrew Avenue and Route 63 (Cherry Street).

The work is expected to be completed at the end of the week, according to public works.

Public works officials also noted drivers should expect detours in the area and are encouraged to use caution and seek an alternate route when possible.

"We appreciate your patience and cooperation while this work is being completed," the post reads.
