Police said a DoorDash driver was delivering food at 65 Lone Oak Ave. when occupants within the residence reportedly "brandished what appeared to be a firearm and took the food without paying." No injuries were incurred, nor were any shots fired, police said.

The Emergency Response Team, as well as members of the Hostage Negotiation Team, responded, police said.

After negotiating with occupants within the residence, the individuals involved surrendered to police and were taken into custody without incident, police said.

A search warrant was granted for the residence. Therein, investigators located a black AR-15-style paintball gun, police said.

Police said Jakai Miller, 19, is charged with interfering with officers, while Javion Miller is charged with interfering with officers, first-degree robbery, and first-degree threatening.

Jakai Miller was released on a promise to appear, while Javion Miller was held in lieu of a $250,000 bond.
