Andrew Avenue School Holds Field Day

Andrew Avenue students enjoyed a full day of outdoor activities designed by PE teacher Jen Stone and facilitated by parent volunteers.

Naugatuck, CT - Andrew Avenue Elementary School held an annual Field Day for all grade levels on Thursday. Activities were planned by PE teacher Jen Stone and the stations were staffed by parent volunteers. Everyone got wet, but had plenty of good fun during the day-long event.

Stations included many relays, a parachute, a sponge throw, a wet sock throw, hungry hippos and even a photo booth.

Mrs. Stone posted: "Field day was a blast!! Thanks to the volunteers!"

The PE teacher hosted a lunch, a baked potato bar, for all Andrew Avenue teachers and staff members on Thursday May 23rd (even if it rains) as a thank you for all they have done to support her this year.
