Archdiocesan Television Mass Available in Bridgeport Diocese

Viewers in southeastern CT can now view the televised Celebration of the Eucharist at 10am daily.

For television viewers in southeast Connecticut, The Celebration of the Eucharist can now be seen in the Diocese of Bridgeport every day at 10 a.m. on Cablevision’s Channel 84 serving Fairfield County.

“This is wonderful news for the Diocese of Bridgeport,” said Bishop Frank J. Caggiano on the Diocese of Bridgeport website. “It will be a tremendous gift to the elderly, sick and infirm who cannot travel to Mass on Sunday

Fr. John Gatzak has announced the bishop of Bridgeport has been invited to celebrate Mass at a the studio in Prospect for broadcast.

The Mass can also be viewed live each day or on-demand anytime at the Website http://www.ortv.org

Thursday’s televised Mass was celebrated by Fr. John Lavorgna, Director of Vocations for the Archdiocese of Hartford. The reader was Philip O’Neill and the musicians were vocalist Jeff Bingham on guitar and Nancy Janis on vocals.You can view the entire broadcast here for one week until it is replaced with a new episode.
