NAUGATUCK, CT β€” Naugatuck police and the Naugatuck Fire Marshal’s office are investigating an arson fire that happened around 2 a.m. on Aug. 25 at 191 North Hoadley St., officials announced Tuesday.

β€œThe fire was discovered on the outside of the residence where the siding was burning,” police wrote in a news release. β€œThe fire was extinguished and investigators discovered evidence of arson.”

Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance with any information regarding the fire. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Naugatuck Police Department at 203-729-5221 or the NPD Confidential Tip Line at 203-720-1010.
