ATM Stolen From Inside Gas Station: Naugatuck Police

Police believe the burglars are armed and urged the public to not approach them if they are seen.

NAUGATUCK, CT β€” An ATM was stolen from inside the Roadrunner gas station on Rubber Avenue early Saturday morning in Naugatuck, according to police.

The burglars broke into the gas station around 2 a.m., according to police. The vehicle used in the theft was described by police as a newer model white Dodge Ram 1500 β€œWarlock” edition with a black stripe on the center of the hood.

Police said two burglars dressed all in black broke in through the front door and stole the ATM while the driver remained in the truck.

The ATM was later found on High Street in Naugatuck, according to police.

β€œNaugatuck Police suspect these subjects may be armed and urge the public to use caution and not approach these suspects if they are seen,” police wrote in a news release.
