Bad News If You're A Fan Of Wendy's In Naugatuck

A proposal to bring a Wendy's Restaurant to Naugatuck has been dealt a serious setback.

NAUGATUCK, CT — Some bad news if you're a fan of Wendy's. My Citizen's News reports that a proposal to develop a Wendy's Restaurant on Bridge Street has been abruptly pulled.

The restaurant was supposed to open at 112 Bridge Street but that won't happen anymore. No reason was given for why the deal was halted but local officials say they were surprised that the deal fell through, My Citizen's News reports.

There is also uncertainty concerning what will happen to The Eastern Company, which owns the site.
