All of the proceeds will be going to Sound Affect International. ”They are an incredible organization based out of New Haven and bent on changing the world through music,” writes Ms. Chappa. ”The money will go specifically to their international travel costs for their trips to Haiti and the Dominican Republic to teach music. They really are incredible people.”

Their website describes their mission:

SOUND Affect International Summer Teams are groups of SOUND Affect singers who travel to third world countries annually to teach and perform. They work with orphans and street children, and also spend time volunteering at orphanages. They learn to sing in other languages, and learn to speak enough phrases to be able to teach effectively. Many lasting friendships are made, and many lives are touched, both here and across the ocean.

Tickets for the concert are a $5 suggested donation.
